How did the idea for AquaMare Skincare come about?

It all started with the desire to create an honest and high-quality product.
My son and I share a passion for cosmetics and wanted to develop a brand that reflected our understanding of beauty: natural, transparent and connected with the Mediterranean.

Why the name “AquaMare”?

Because it encapsulates everything we are. “Aqua” represents life and purity. “Mare” refers both to the Mediterranean Sea and to the maternal figure, to our origins. We felt it was a beautiful way to give the brand a soul.

How would you define AquaMare in three words?

Authenticity, balance, and light. We want to convey the feeling of calm and well-being that one experiences by the sea.

Where does the Mediterranean inspiration surrounding the brand come from?

From our lifestyle. From the sun, the sea, and the aromas of plants like rosemary. The Mediterranean is simplicity, but also strength and vitality. We wanted to capture all of that in the product, from the design to the formula.
